Tirana, Albania—Participants from over 50 nations attended the Southeast Europe Peace Summit organized by UPF. The summit, held from October 25 to 27, 2019, featured a wide range of activities.

Tirana, Albania—Former heads of state and government and members of parliament attended a Balkan Leadership Conference organized by UPF.

The UPF World Summit 2019 was held from February 7 to 11 in Seoul, Korea. 1200 participants including current and former heads of state and government, members of parliament, religious leaders and NGO representatives from 110 nations attended the event.

Geneva, Switzerland—A consultation on creating a chapter of the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) was held at the World Council of Churches offices.

On April 28 – 29, 2018 in Vienna, Austria, the Universal Peace Federation held an International Leadership Conference on the theme: “Toward Interdependence and Mutual Prosperity: The Role of Religious Leaders and Parliamentarians”.

Lisbon, Portugal—The International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) was inaugurated in Portugal at a conference held in the national parliament.

Dakar, Senegal—The historic World Africa Summit 2018 was convened from January 18 to 19, 2018, in Dakar, Senegal, on the theme “New Africa: Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity and Universal Values,” with about 1,200 participants representing more than 60 nations.

Brussels, Belgium—A series of IAPP inaugural meetings in Europe in 2017 culminated in a conference in the European Parliament.

Tirana, Albania—Approximately 140 people attended the Albanian inauguration of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP).

Prague, Czech Republic—The International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace had its national inauguration at a conference held in the Czech Parliament.

Pristina, Kosovo—More than 100 participants attended the Balkans regional inauguration of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP).

Vienna, Austria—The Austrian chapter of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace was inaugurated at the United Nations Office at Vienna.

Rome, Italy—Ambassadors for Peace from throughout the Middle East participated in a three-day seminar on UPF’s Peace Principles held in Rome.

London, United Kingdom—The House of Lords was the setting for an important and timely discussion, organized by UPF-UK, on preventing radicalization.
